How do I become a patient of the practice?
Becoming a patient of the practice is easy. All it requires, is for you to simply book and attend a new patient appointment so that we can record your medical and dental history, carry out a comprehensive examination, take any necessary radiographs and carry out cleaning/polishing if required. At this appointment we will have a detailed discussion regarding the findings and any recommendations.
This means we will always have a detailed record allowing for easy monitoring and appointment scheduling.
Benefits include being on our recall system so you don’t need to worry about forgetting and missing your routine check and maintenance appointments. You will have priority appointments if an urgent need arises for you or a family member and also have an after hours contact number giving you peace of mind that your dentist is always available to you.

The Child Dental Benefits Schedule (CDBS) provides individual benefits for a wide variety of dental services. Eligible children between 2-17 years, will have access to a benefit cap of $1000.00 over a two year calendar period. Families can check whether their child is eligible by contacting the Department of Human Services.

COVID-19 related precautions undertaken at Piara Waters Dental
We are now at level one restrictions for dental treatment. This means all patients will be triaged on the phone to ascertain their specific level of risk. High/moderate risk patients will be deferred for non-urgent treatment or referred for appropriate management.
For patients who are deemed low risk, treatment may be carried out under standard precautions as normal.
Alcohol based hand sanitisation and a pre-procedural mouthwash are additional precautions that are implemented. The waiting room is regularly cleaned and social distancing is enforced.
As a single dentist practice patients can be assured there will be low foot-traffic within the clinic hence minimising interaction between patients.
